Travel Awards

The International Proteolysis Society is dedicated to supporting the young up-and-coming protease research scientists. The society uses most of its financial resources to help support Members-in-Training to attend our general meetings. We are therefore pleased to announce that we will be making a significant number of travel awards for this meeting.

In order to be considered for an award you need to:

  • Be a current undergraduate, graduate student or postdoctoral fellow within 3 years of completion of your PhD.
  • Be an active IPS member in training. If you are not currently a member you can become a member by going to the IPS website. Note: If you are not a member and register for the meeting, it will include a two year IPS membership!! See the registration page for details.

Indicate in your email with your abstract submission that you would like to be considered for a travel award.

Awards will be made based on the quality of abstracts as judged by our international panel of advisors. We will make every effort to make as many awards as possible. Usually our budget allows us to make between 20-30 30-40 awards.

Awards will be for $500 for delegates from North America and $1000 for delegates from other countries.

We look forward to receiving your abstracts!!
